How to read these pictures

Candles are the ticker's own daily (or weekly) bars — the picture ends on the newest bar the library holds.

Trend line. The best straight line through recent swing highs (resistance) and through recent swing lows (support). A line is kept only if it passes through at least two swing points with no swing piercing the wrong side of it, spans at least six bars and stays within a realistic distance of the price. ×N is how many swing points sit on it, resp the share of closes that stayed on the correct side.

Channel. A parallel channel built off a clean trend line. The far wall is the offset where at least two finer swings cluster (a ? means it rests on one swing only). Inside is the share of closes that sat between the walls since the base line began — the test that separates a channel from a fit.

ABC channel. A second way to build the channel: the main edge runs through two swing points (A and C), the parallel edge through a real swing between them (B). It often disagrees with the fitted channel; when it does, the geometry is genuinely ambiguous.

The faint extension to the right of the last candle is the same line carried forward a few bars so you can see where it sits against the price. It is geometry, not a forecast.

Everything on this page describes where the swing points are. Nothing here says which way a price will go: whether a line touch or a channel wall predicts the next bar has not been measured, so no column carries a direction, a target or a score. Live ranks how close a decision is — a close through a line in the last three bars, sitting on a line, or standing at a channel wall — not which way it goes. End-of-day data; not investment advice.
