Cancellation and refunds
In force from 10 October 2026.
In short: the plan renews by itself each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel any time, yourself, in two clicks. If a payment was a mistake, tell us within 7 days and we refund it.
What you buy, and when you are charged
The plan is a digital service: the download of the data files of every ticker. Its price, monthly or yearly, is shown on the payment page before you pay, in US dollars (taxes, if they apply where you live, are added at checkout). You pay on Stripe’s secure payment page, and access is switched on as soon as the payment is confirmed, usually within a minute.
The plan renews automatically. The same amount is charged to the same card at the end of each period — the month or the year you chose — until you cancel. Stripe sends a receipt for every payment.
Cancelling
- Yourself, any time: sign in, open your account page and press Manage billing. There you cancel the plan, change the card and see your invoices.
- Or ask us on the support page, and we cancel it for you.
- When you cancel, nothing more is charged, and your access stays open until the end of the period you already paid for. Then the downloads close. The account itself stays, without access, until you ask us to delete it.
Refunds
- First payment, within 7 days. If you are not happy with the plan, tell us within 7 days of your first payment and we refund it in full and cancel the plan. This is once per customer.
- A renewal you did not want. If a renewal was charged and you meant to cancel, tell us within 7 days of that charge and we refund it and cancel the plan.
- A payment taken in error. Charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or charged after you cancelled: we refund what should not have been taken, whenever you tell us.
- A service that did not work. If the site or the data files were unavailable to you for a long stretch of the period you paid for, tell us and we will refund the part you could not use or extend the period.
- Otherwise, a period that has begun and has been used is not refunded when you cancel in the middle of it: you keep access until it ends.
How a refund is paid
A refund goes back to the card the payment came from, through Stripe, and shows on your statement within about 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank. When we refund a payment we also cancel the plan, so the downloads close.
A payment you do not recognise, or a question
Please write to us first on the support page, with the date and amount of the payment — we answer there within two business days, and we would rather put it right than see a dispute at your bank. The terms are in the terms of use; what we keep about you is in the privacy policy.
