🧭 The top of every ticker page
Options Chart, Chain Snapshot, Volatility, Walls & Levels, Greeks & flow, Gamma Squeeze, Delta Tilt, Dollar Skew, Bull Bear, Vs Sector & Market, Trade by Expiry, Strategy, Combo, Expected-Move Spreads, TA Chart — all of them start with the same strip. Learn it once and every page reads the same way.
The bar, left to right
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| ◀ ▶ | Step to the previous / next ticker in the list. Handy for walking through a sector one name at a time. |
| ticker box | Type any ETF, stock or futures contract and press Enter, or pick from the list that drops down. A futures contract ends in .F — CL.F is crude oil, CL is the stock. |
| source line | The small grey text next to it: which kind of ticker it is and the date of the last session the page holds. |
| show last … sessions | How many trading days the charts draw — see below. |
| Simple | Detailed | How much of the page is open — see below. |
| status | "loading SPY…" while a ticker is being read; red if a file for it is missing. |
Simple | Detailed
People come to these pages at very different levels, so each page opens on its headline and its main chart (Simple). Everything else is there too — as closed bars that name what is inside. Click a bar to open it.
- Simple (the default): the headline, the main chart, and closed bars for the rest.
- Detailed: every bar open — the page as a trader who wants every number would read it.
- A bar you open or close by hand stays that way in both modes.
- The choice is remembered in this browser and is the same on every page.
How far back — "show last … sessions"
Pages open on the last 400 sessions (about a year and a half) because that is quick to load. Choose 120 or 250 for a closer look, or 1000 / all to read the older history — then the page fetches the older sessions, which takes a moment.
"SPY, read another way"
Under the page title there is a row of links named after the ticker on screen. Each is another study of the same ticker: the two charts first, then the pages of the Options family. The page you are on is shown in bold. Click one and you keep your ticker.
Why it exists: the same ticker is summarised under the chart and read in full on a page of its own. The row makes sure you know the full page exists.
What can I type?
| You type | You get |
|---|---|
| SPY, QQQ, XLK | An ETF. |
| AAPL, NVDA | A stock (about 600 of them). |
| ES.F, CL.F, GC.F | A futures contract — options on futures. Typing ES alone finds the future when no stock has that name. |
| BA, CB, CL, ET | Four names are both a stock and a futures root. The bare name is the stock; add .F for the future. |
A ticker needs a price history to appear in the list — one without a price bar cannot be charted.
Tips
/viewer/levels.html?s=NVDA. Paste it to a friend who is a member and they land on the same ticker.
